The 4th annual Cross-institutional Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) will be held at Illinois State University from May 29 through June 1, 2019.
During the workshop, participating students will experience the entire process of conducting scholarly research, from inception of a research problem to presenting and disseminating the completed project and its results. Students work in research teams under the guidance of faculty mentors. Additionally sessions on using research, scientific writing, and refereed publishing are offered. Each day ends with a fun-filled social activity.
This year the CURE workshop will focus on mathematics applications to biology, ecology, medicine, and similar fields.
