In celebration of Peace Corps Week and AmeriCorps Week, the Stevenson Center for Community and Economic Development presents Corps & Coffee, an informational event for students interested in positions with these organizations. The event will give students an opportunity to speak with current and past members in a casual environment.
Corps & Coffee will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the Starbucks at the Bone Student Center. Students are welcome to drop in when their schedule allows and buy themselves a treat. There is no cost to participate in the conversation.
A Peace Corps regional recruiter will be present for questions, as well as Campus Ambassadors Maria Kitchin and Shaylin Quaid. Information will also be available regarding the Peace Corps Prep program, which helps students prepare for success with Peace Corps and careers in public service.
