ReggieCon will host the panel “To Live as One Tribe: Wakanda for All!” from 7-8 p.m. February 25, via Zoom.

In celebration of Black History Month, the panel will focus on the Black Panther comics. The suggested reading is Black Panther: A Nation under Our Feet, by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Panelists include Dr. Scott Jordan, chair of the Department of Psychology at Illinois State University; Victor Dandridge, founder of Vantage InHouse Productions; Dr. Theresa Rojas, professor of English at Modesto Junior College and director of the Latinx Comic Arts Festival; and Dr. Eric Wesselmann, associate professor of psychology at Illinois State.
Guest panelist for February will inlcude Dr. Vanessa Hintz, Alex Simmons, Dr. Stanford Carpenter, and Daniel Jun Kim.
Sponsored by the Office of Enrollment Management and Academic Services, ReggieCon is a series of virtual events held throughout the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. Each event consists of a panel of experts in comic and popular media and will focus on issues of race and diversity. Panel topics align with national recognition months such as Black History, LGBTQ History, and Asian Pacific Heritage Month.
