The Nominating Committee of the Graduate Council is seeking nominations or self-nominations of full graduate faculty members to fill openings on three committees:
Membership & Student Development Committee: Two seats – one seat open for a full graduate faculty member from the College of Applied Science and Technology and one from the College of Education.
Graduate Curriculum Committee: Two seats – one seat open for a full graduate faculty member from Mennonite College of Nursing and one from the College of Education.
Research and Creative Activity Committee: Two at-large seats open for a full graduate faculty member from any school/department (Except the School of Kinesiology and Recreation and Mennonite College of Nursing. Both programs already have seated members).
Those elected will serve a three-year term August 2021–April 2024.
Submit nominations to Kim Shennett, keshenne@ilstu.edu, by 4:30 p.m. February 18, 2021. Before making a nomination, please confirm with the nominee that they are willing to stand for election and can attend the meetings. The slate of candidates will appear on the March ballot.
Note that one year must lapse between the expiration of an elected Graduate Council member’s term and a new nomination.
