On Friday, October 14, the Department of Technology recognized Anthony Izzi, a 2002 construction management graduate as its 2022 Distinguished Alumnus.
For nearly 20 years, Izzi has been a leader in the construction management industry in the Chicagoland area. He began his career as an intern in a large general contractor’s job order contract division in Chicago. Over the years, he continued to grow the job order contract division into the company’s preferred projects group which included over 60 construction professionals. Izzi was then promoted to vice president of the preferred projects group.
Izzi is dedicated and committed to understanding the needs of his customers and exceeding customer expectations. He strives to finish every project with efficiency and quality. Izzi has overseen hundreds of projects of different sizes and in various sectors including education, transportation, recreation, health care, and municipality. In 2018, his employer recognized his leadership and excellence. He also completed Crain’s Leadership Academy.
He resides in Park Ridge with his wife, Amanda, and two daughters, Annabelle and Abigail.
