Dr. Nathan A. Stephens from the Illinois State University Department of Social Work will present “From Home to Here: A Thematic Narrative of Black Male Collegians Transition to College” at 1 p.m. December 1 via Zoom.
The talk is sponsored by the African American Studies Program. Register for the talk here before November 30.
Dr. Stephens will present the results of his study that investigated the impact of a program decided to assist the transition of Black male collegians to college. He will discuss the meaning the participants ascribed to the program and how they described their overall experience with the program.
