Professor Donna Jurdy of Northwestern University’s Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences will present Venus Active Tectonics: Evidence from Craters, Coronae and Chasmata from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 3, in Felmley Hall of Science Annex, room 133.

Jurdy is currently conducting research on the tectonics of Venus, the magnetic lineations on Mars, and Titan’s surface. She has also worked on Ganymede and the volcanism of Io.
