Chris Homan
Chris Homan has been named the director of the Office of Energy Management (OEM) at Illinois State. As part of the Division of Finance and Planning, OEM is responsible for the procurement and distribution of utilities; the operation and repair of facilities’ mechanical systems; the automation and management of building control systems; and sustainability initiatives.
Homan came to Illinois State in 2006 as the assistant director of OEM following approximately 24 years in the private sector. He has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University.
