Illinois State University’s Budget Office will host representatives from eight other state universities during a budget officer retreat on Thursday, October 8, in Normal.
Agenda topics include streamlining processes, such as required reporting, and handling potential budget cuts in light of the (to be determined) FY2016 state appropriations.
“The state university budget officers recently started monthly conference calls to discuss topics of interest and concern and to bounce questions and ideas off each other,” said Sandy Cavi, Illinois State’s director of budget planning and operations. “However, it’s always great to put faces with names, and I look forward to hosting our colleagues this fall.”
