Ali Riaz, POL, published a co-edited volume, Routledge Handbook of Contemporary Bangladesh. Riaz has contributed a chapter on “Political Parties, Elections and Party Systems” and co-authored the “Introduction” with his co-editor Muhammad Sajjadur Rahman.
Shelley Clevenger, CJS, co-authored “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back: Cyberbullying within Social Networking Sites” for Security Journal.
Justin Vickers, MUS, published “Amanuensis of the Sea: Peter Maxwell Davies’s Symphonies Nos. 1 and 2 and the Antarctic Symphony,” exploring wave-shapes in the compositional construction of Davies’s symphonies, in The Sea in the British Musical Imagination. He also published “Benjamin Britten’s Silent ‘Epilogue’ to The Holy Sonnets of John Donne” in The Musical Times (England), presenting and analyzing his discovery of a “lost” score from Britten’s seminal Holocaust response.
William Bohn, LAN emeritus, published Revue Mensuelle titled “Apollinaire et les chansons d’enfant.”

Issam Nassar, HIS, presented “Photographic Albums as Archives of Palestinian History” at the two-day symposium Photo Archives V: The Paradigm of Objectivity held at The Getty Center and The Huntington in Los Angeles.
Jeff Barrett, MAT, presented an invited colloquium talk titled “Measurement as a Mathematical Construction: Characterizing Children’s Development of Knowledge About Spatial Quantities” at the University of Georgia in Athens.
Andrew Hartman, HIS, was the featured speaker at the F. Kevin Simon History Symposium in Lexington, Kentucky. He presented “The ‘Big 80s’: American Politics and Popular Culture in the Age of Reagan.”
