The Friends of the Arts will host its second annual Gala at the Gallery event on Saturday, May 14, 2016, in the University Galleries at Uptown Station in Normal.
Illinois State’s Friends of the Arts hosts Gala at the Gallery each year.
The Gala at the Gallery is a special fundraising event that last year raised more than $25,000 for College of Fine Arts scholarships and grants, helping to fund the education and projects of 73 fine arts students.
This year’s gala will feature silent and live auctions of artwork and experiences from distinguished artists and local businesses, individuals, and groups. Tickets are $60 and include appetizers, desserts, and complimentary wine, beer, and soda.
The artists’ preview starts at 5 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Reservations are limited and are available by calling the Center for the Performing Arts Box Office at (309) 438-2535.
