A retirement reception for Connie Bryant will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in Cook Hall, room 212. Remarks will be at 4:30 p.m.
Bryant has been at Illinois State University for 19 years, assisting with the College of Fine Arts, the School of Music, and the University’s bands.
“Connie has been an essential part of the School of Music family for many years. If you have been to a concert, athletic contest, or public event that featured an ISU band, Connie had something to do with it,” said Director of the School of Music Steven Parsons. “Our faculty, staff, and students wish her the best as she retires, but we will greatly miss her. The Band Office just won’t be the same without Connie, and the occasional visit from Simon, the official band dog!”
