A Rock Bands concert, with guest stars The Grannies Band, will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Metcalf School, outside of Hayden Auditorium. Those attending should bring lawn chairs.

The Rock Bands are made up of students from 10-13 year-old Metcalf students who learned through a special summer Rock Bands program. Joining them will be members a band of Metcalf teachers, a band of adult learners of the Rock Band, the band Music Jam, consisting of musicians with disabilities; and The Grannies Band, made up of women between the ages of 57-80, who will perform with guest singer and Illinois State University Professor of Voice Michelle Vought.
