The Fitness program with Campus Recreation provides a variety of great ways to exercise. Whether starting the semester with a favorite group fitness class from last year or trying something new, there are plenty of ways to stay active with Campus Recreation’s Fitness program.
Our group fitness schedule is packed with a wide variety of classes in several formats such as cardiovascular, mind-body, and strength. Find one, or more, that fits both your fitness goals and your schedule. Any course can be modified to fit your needs.
The Fitness program is also offering a special offering on Thursday, September 15. Help us celebrate national yoga month with Yoga on the Quad from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Drop in as your schedule allows. Bring your own mat or towel, or just participate in the comfy grass. Personal training has also changed a bit this semester, with options for small group training with your friends being added to individual and partner training sessions.
“We’re looking forward to another great semester of fitness,” said Associate Director of Campus Recreation Mike Bastian. “There are a wide variety of fitness opportunities to help you along your fitness journey.”
Make this semester a great one, and find new ways to ACTIVATE. For more information about any of these classes, call (309) 438-8197 or visit the Fitness section of the website.
