The Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir, and Civic Choir will perform Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa de Requiem at 8 p.m. Friday, October 21, in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for faculty/staff, and $6 for students and seniors.
The performance of Verdi’s Requiem will also feature School of Music vocal soloists Michelle Vought, soprano; Kathryn Leemhuis, mezzo-soprano; Justin Vickers, tenor; and John Koch, baritone. The orchestra and combined choirs will be directed by guest conductor Maurizio Colasanti.
