Departments that have speakers scheduled for the fall can request to join the 2017 Fall Speaker Series through the Office of the President.
The Speaker Series allows for joint promotion of speakers through posters, press releases, and the website. The speaker must have campus-wide interest and the talk has to be open to the general public.
For examples of speakers, go online to the Speaker Series website. Deadline for submitting speakers’ names will be Friday, September 8. To request a speaker be added, or for help in planning or bringing a speaker to campus, contact Julie Barnhill, director of Presidential and Trustee Events, at 438-8790.
