The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) is offering a series of workshops titled Reinvent Your Course for Diversity this summer as part of the Summer Institute.
Facilitated by Mayuko Nakamura and Dana Karraker, this workshop will help instructors reflect on course content and explore how that content can meet the needs of the diverse student population at Illinois State University.
“The workshops will incorporate strategies that create a culturally inclusive classroom climate, while facilitating conversations that challenge students’ ethnic and cultural assumptions,” said Nakamura.
