NIH grant enables Mortimer to study connection between Alzheimer’s and the immune system
A National Institutes of Health grant totaling $293,000 will support efforts in Nathan Mortimer’s research lab to examine a protein called amyloid beta, thought to accumulate in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.
