Peace Corps Fellow serving with AmeriCorps uses art to promote inclusion and community
Peace Corps Fellow Ryan Arnold has always had a penchant for making things happen, even before joining the Stevenson Center. Prior to starting his master’s degree, Arnold served with the Peace Corps in Cameroon from 2011 to 2013 as a youth development coordinator. He went on to work at CARE for AIDS for four years as the African Operations Director. In 2018, Arnold joined the Stevenson Center to pursue a master’s degree in political science.

Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Education Amy Hurd has named Amelia Noël-Elkins as interim assistant vice president for student success effective July 1.
Jennifer Friberg named interim director of CTLT
Dr. Jennifer Friberg has been named interim director for the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology, effective June 1.

Helping chemists fine-tune reactions in the lab has taken on a new importance. The lab of Andy Mitchell, an associate professor of organic chemistry, will continue work that provides insights on chemical reactions.
