The Peoria Area Alumni Network is hosting a wine tasting at the beautiful Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. Those joining will take a tour of the vineyard and sample local wines with the group. Heavy appetizers will also be available. Don’t miss this chance for a beautiful evening in Central Illinois.
Alumni are invited to join the Desert Birds at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens for an afternoon enjoying the beauty of the desert. The group will meet at 10 a.m. to avoid the hottest part of the day.

Freshman Daniel Jackson wants to be the best teacher he can be, so he chose Illinois State. Last fall Jackson was awarded one of several scholarships offered by the Black Colleagues Association.
