Illinois State football legend Boomer Grigsby has earned a spot among college football’s all-time greats, as the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced January 10 that he will be a member of the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame Class.
Ray Kralis ’90, longtime head coach of the Illinois State University men’s golf team, is a teacher, a nurturer, and an evaluator of talent. When he recruited David Perkins ’21 out of East Peoria Community High School, he had some inkling of his potential, but Perkins exceeded his coach’s and his own expectations.
With gratitude for the support he received, Hart recently established the Doug Hart Accounting Scholarship to benefit students who demonstrate financial need. The inaugural recipient will be selected for the 2022-2023 academic year.
