Unique visitor in farm management class
On September 25, Maria Boerngen had a unique visitor to her AGR 213 Farm Management class. Around 70 students were able to meet Martin Barbre, who was recently appointed as the Administrator of the USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA) by Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue.

McGinnis talk to look at equity and access in recreation and sports, October 24
Professor Kimberly Shinew’s research focuses on the interrelated effects of race, ethnicity, social class, and gender on recreation and sport preferences and behaviors. Her talk is the 2018 Esther Larson McGinnis Scholar Lecture.
CDC official to speak on adolescent and school health
