When it comes to glorious learning spaces, the School of Communication’s Social Media Analytics Command Center (SMACC) is at the top of the list. Not counting basic software and hardware improvements that made the SMACC lab more powerful, its equipment and furniture have essentially remained the same from the time it first opened in fall 2014 through spring 2022. CAS conducting food drive for School Street Food Pantry
The College of Arts and Sciences will conduct a food drive to benefit the School Street Food Pantry, October 10–21. Collection boxes will be available in the College office and in all school/department offices.

WGLT General Manager R.C. McBride elected to the NPR Board of Directors
NPR member stations around the country voted to elect WGLT general manager R.C. McBride to the NPR Board of Directors. McBride will serve a three-year term beginning in November. McBride is a 30-year radio industry veteran spending the last six years as the general manager of WGLT. Under his leadership the station expanded local news
