Starting April 4 and lasting through April 8 the School of Communication will be hosting its annual COM Week. The theme this year is “Be the Change, Connect through Communication.”

Birds Give Back 2022 results

Birds Give Back is the annual day of giving for at Illinois State University. The School of Communication received the most gifts and raised more than twice the amount it did in 2021.

Georgia (The Republic of) on our mind

Three faculty from the School of Communication traveled to the Republic of Georgia in December as part of a U.S. State Department-funded program to bolster media education and democracy among Georgia journalists and university educators.

The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) is an academic media organization, promoting insights, excellence in media production, and career advancement for educators, students, and professionals. Illinois State University’s School of Communication is proud to have three students who won scholarships in this nationwide competition.
