Eddie Becker, an Information Systems –System analytics student; Mathew Weiner ’20, a recent Computer Science graduate; Erik Wenth, a Cybersecurity student; Zach Oettle, a student of Networking and Telecommunications Management; and Ryan Skare, an Information Systems student with a focus on Web Application Development were teamed up randomly in IT 391- last summer and completed a successful project for a local business – The Recipe Girls.

Illinois State University’s Graphic Communications Technology student team placed first in the 2021 Phoenix Challenge competition, held on May 1, 2021.
Through his efforts, Printing Management became Graphic Communications and the curriculum was strengthened to include more emphasis on Adobe products, digital photography, and packaging.
