Associate Professor of Music Carl Schimmel has been named a 2018 Guggenheim Fellow, awarded by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
The festival will feature evening performances by the University’s jazz ensembles, and free morning and afternoon performances by junior high and high school jazz bands from across the state.
