On December 5, the IRS issued the redesigned 2020 Form W-4 (Employee Withholding Certificate). The new form has replaced withholding allowances with a five-step process for determining employee withholding.
It is time for employees to review their current Form W-4 status for preferred changes in filing status and/or number of allowances needed for tax year 2020.
Active employees may elect to receive their Form W-2 and 1095-C statements online.
As the semester comes to a close, employees should be aware of the Friday, December 20, pay date and University closures.
As of January 21, 2019, electronic versions of these forms were made available through iPeople Self-Service. Address changes made after January 16, 2019, have not been included for the 2018 Form W-2 mailing.
