The National Science Foundation has awarded another three-year, $300,000 grant to Distinguished Physics Professor Rainer Grobe and Distinguished Physics Professor Qichang Su for their laser research.

Quark gluon plasma subject of physics colloquium

David Hofman, chair of the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, will present “A Frontier of Nuclear Physics: Studying the Quark Gluon Plasma” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in Moulton Hall, room 214. The talk is part of the Spring 2016 Physics Colloquium.
