New website published on textbook affordability issues

The Illinois State University Textbook Affordability Committee is pleased to announce a new website related to issues in textbook affordability. The website provides information about available campus resources and strategies faculty and students can utilize to reduce textbook costs. For students, the website provides suggestions for managing textbook costs, responses to some frequently asked questions

Best-selling author and associate professor Dr. Safiya Noble will give a virtual talk titled Algorithms of Oppression: How Search Engines Reinforce Racism at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, over Zoom. Noble’s talk will be a part of Open Access Week 2020 activities held by Milner Library.
