Laura Kowalczyk, the Senior Professionals coordinator, will present the talk “Enhancing the College Experience Outside the Traditional Classroom” for University Club on March 1.
Up to $1,000 will be awarded in February and must be used during the 2019 spring semester for local, student-led civic engagement projects.
Topics to be explored will include the Illinois budget and long-term debt reduction, the opioid epidemic, the 1968 and 1969 American crisis, and exploration of Illinois’ archaeology.
