Peace Corps hosts major application drive, September 17
The Peace Corps seeks applicants to fill hundreds of requests for volunteers in programs worldwide to begin service in spring and summer 2020. On Sept.17, Peace Corps recruiters will hold more than 70 application workshops nationwide.

Teaching overseas with Peace Corps
Peace Corps volunteers serve communities worldwide in six different sectors, or kinds of jobs. The largest sector is education, which has given Illinois State graduates Max Plonczynski and Alejandra Villalobos the perfect setting to put their teaching skills to the test.

Peace Corps + graduate degree = meaningful career
Stevenson Center alum and returned Peace Corps Volunteer Michael Hotard has used his applied economics master’s degree to serve the U.S. Department of Labor, the nonprofit Civic Pulse, and Stanford University since graduating from Illinois State ten years ago.
