The Office of International Engagement hosted a Thanksgiving Celebration November 17 for international students at Illinois State University.
In a few short years, Illinois State has built a powerhouse esports program that has made the University a destination for a massive national and international population of prospective students who may have never known about the school otherwise.
Graduate students in the School of Communication will be presenting their scholarly work at the National Communication Association’s (NCA) 108th Annual Convention. The convention will be held November 17–20, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Although there are already more than 400 registered student organizations (RSOs) on Illinois State University’s campus, students inspired by their personal passions continue creating new RSOs that connect fellow Redbirds with similar interests.
First-Gen Redbirds, the registered student organization supporting and celebrating first-generation college students, will hold First to the Finish, a welcome social for students, faculty, and staff.
Student Activities, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, is collecting contact information from faculty and staff who are interested in serving as volunteer advisors for registered student organizations.
Victor Ventura’s days start and end early. But between waking up and turning in for the night, this Redbird is constantly on the go, working to meet his goal of helping others, now and in the future.
Over a year into the pandemic, as staff prepared for a complete return to in-person learning in fall 2021, the Division was thrilled to resume some of our favorite on-campus traditions and experiences with continued modifications in place.
The Office of International Studies and Programs support students from 70 countries as they chase their dreams in the United States. To better serve these students, the program has crafted several programs to set these students up for success.
If there’s one annual event our Redbirds get pumped for, it’s Homecoming. Illinois State University celebrated its 100 Years of Homecoming with its staple events, from Reggie Day at the Zoo, Homecoming Kickoff, Redbird Rumble, Hoopfest, Hybrid Town and Gown 5K run and walk to the football game against North Dakota State and the ribbon cutting to the Multicultural Center, our Birds came together to show what Redbird Pride is about.
