Superintendent for Illinois State University Laboratory Schools Jeffrey Hill has accepted a position as Superintendent for Morton Community School District 709 beginning July 1, 2017.
Eric Parker, Ed.D., Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Model Laboratory School executive director, visited the Illinois State University Laboratory Schools on November 29.

A parent meeting for Chess Cats will be 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 3, in the Fairchild Lounge. Chess Cats is open to all Kindergarten through eighth-grade students. Chess Cats meets every Thursday from 3:10-4:30 p.m., starting October 20. Activity fee is $35.00 per student.
